On September 16th, Groupe Vital organized its first soccer tournament in partnership with Red Star FC, an unforgettable day of a friendly competition and a proof of passion for sport. Parisian employees gathered at Five de Marville to take part in a sporting event that will remain etched in our memories.
The tournament brought together several teams of Parisian employees, each displaying impressive talent on the pitch. The stakes were high, as the winning team would have the opportunity to challenge the winning Bordeaux team in the final.
As well as the competition, the Fair play was at the heart of our tournament. We awarded the Fair Play Cup to a team that demonstrated exemplary sportsmanship throughout the day. This shows that for us, respect and friendship are just as important as winning.
We’re proud of the passion and commitment of our teams, and look forward to what the future holds in terms of sport and conviviality.
After this wonderful victory, on September 30 the two Bordeaux teams also faced off on the pitch at Five du Lac with a Girondins de Bordeaux partnership, in a friendly match that would take the winning team through to the final. The final took place a few hours later.
Finally, the eagerly-awaited grand final was an eventful affair. Both teams showed sportsmanship, competition and energy. The match ended in a fine victory for our Parisian team.
